As a lover of love stories, it made complete sense for me to become a marriage celebrant. I fell into the role in my mid twenties, when a lot of my friends were getting married. I always asked about their love story, and found myself wanting that story to be told in a honest, humble and sincere way. I thought I could do that, and so... I did! Ten-plus years on, I still get a buzz from this incredible job.

My love story began in a record store in the UK, and took me around the world. We drove through Europe for 4 months, living in a converted London taxi. We moved to Tokyo and found our spiritual home. We worked in Italy, hiking with kids through the mountains above Como. We trekked to Everest base camp in Nepal, and became engaged in a tiny wooden teahouse. And in 2013, we returned back home to the Sunshine Coast to raise our kids, Stevie & Wes, by the ocean.

Every single couple I meet has an incredible love story to tell. I'd love to hear yours!    

I start my day with... our kids squished right up in my face, and an almond piccolo delivered by Rob  

I end my day with... ideally, a yin yoga practise at Zenko in Maroochydore

On a perfect day you will find me... on the river, in our boat

If I could travel to anywhere in the world I would go to... Burning Man  
 
My favourite movie is... Lost In Translation or The Life Aquatic 

My guilty pleasure is... good quality dark chocolate

I'll never return to...  Cadillacs Nightclub in Bath, UK. Oh yes, it's as classy as it sounds. ​
